FAQ
A crèche can be set up regardless of the number of children. What truly matters is the presence of women employees in your organisation, not headcount alone.
Yes, we can set up a dedicated crèche exclusively for your organisation outside your building. This near-site model ensures your employees still benefit from convenient access, flexibility, and priority admissions—without the need for space within your premises. It’s ideal for companies with space constraints but a growing need for childcare support.

At Feathertouch, preschool admissions are based on a simple “First Come, First Serve” policy with no tests or interviews. We offer daycare from 4 months onward and preschool programs from 18 months. Admission to Nursery begins at 2 years 10 months as of June each academic year.
On the first day of daycare or playschool at Feathertouch International, we encourage one parent to accompany the child. Spend some time observing what your child enjoys and once they’re engaged in an activity, you may step away.
It's natural for children to become upset when they notice a parent leaving. If your child continues to cry for an extended period, we’ll call you immediately. Your child’s comfort and emotional safety are our top priority.
We do not follow a strict dress code, except for our Pre-KG programs. However, to maintain decorum at our playschools, we recommend the following:
Children should come neatly dressed in clean, comfortable, and easy-to-remove clothing (important for bathroom use).
Always pack a spare set of clothes.
Please avoid gold jewelry or valuable items — the school is not responsible for any loss.
These simple guidelines help keep your child safe, comfortable, and ready to play and learn!
At Feathertouch, we provide healthy, balanced meals planned by nutrition experts and freshly prepared by our in-house chef. Children are served four times a day, and the weekly menu is shared in advance. You're welcome to send home-cooked food too, but please avoid sending chips, chocolates, or junk food.
Yes, birthday celebrations are welcome at our centres!
You may bring a cake to be cut after lunch hours, and your child is welcome to distribute chocolates to classmates. However, we kindly request that no gifts be given to other children or teachers
To ensure safety and prevent loss, we advise parents not to send valuable items, toys, or gold jewelry with children.
Each child should carry a labelled water bottle, a spare set of clothes, and any specific items requested by the centre. Feathertouch will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought from home.
In case of any emergency, parents will be informed immediately. We have tie-ups with nearby hospitals for prompt medical assistance. Please note that we do not give any medication without written instructions from parents—medicine administration forms are available at the centre. Minor injuries will be treated with first aid.
At Feathertouch, we maintain a healthy child-to-staff ratio to ensure quality care. For academic programs, there is 1 teacher for every 8 children. In daycare programs, we ensure 1 caregiver for every 3 to 5 children, depending on the age group.
While English is the main language of communication, our staff come from diverse backgrounds and can speak Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi. This ensures your child feels at home, with caregivers who can communicate in their mother tongue until they are comfortable and settled.
We are registered with the Department of Education for our academic programs. As per the revised guidelines effective from the 2016–17 academic year, a child must be 4 years old for LKG and 6 years old for Class 1 as on June 1 of the respective academic year.
